lyrics

Bellowing Chimes

The meadow seems so bright when morning dew lights up the grass and spreads before my eyes
The sun it will always shine behind the clouds above me
Though I realise that nothing ever turns out right
And everything fades slowly
Like children laughing softly
Over bellowing chimes

A campane fills the air, it reminds me of my conducts and the woman that I loved
They tried to kill you dead
They often tried to pull you down
Under the flames
A cherry picking ghost remains
With buckets full of spruce
In a night that seems so douce
Over bellowing chimes
It’s been such a long time

Since I came across a friendly face or an unborn who appreciates
Freedom as much as I
I let all my horses run away with papers on their heads that say
“Freedom of will is a fraud”

Those five years on the rack, the twisted straws and cigarettes water dripping on my head
And all those buckets full of crap
The dead lying beside the road, the undergrowth
The spring’s release, the autumn’s mode
The cannons and artillery who fire at “will” when charged to
Over bellowing chimes
It’s been such a long time

Since I came across a friendly face or an unborn who appreciates
Freedom as much as I
I let all my horses run away with papers on their heads that say
“Freedom of will is a fraud”
